If p > q and r < 0 which of the following is (are) true?
I. pr < qr
II. p + r > q + r
p - r < q - r
A. I only.
B. II only.
C. I and II only.
D. I and III only.
E. I, II, and III.
I. If p > q and r < 0, multiplying both sides by r reverses the inequality pr < qr.
II. Also, p + r > q + r.
III. However, subtracting r from both sides leaves inequality in same order.
Thus I and II areĀ  only true.
