When a whole number N is dived by 5, the quotient is 13 and the remainder is 4. What is the value of N?
A. 55
B. 59
C. 65
D. 69
E. 79
In any division example, the divisor times the quotient plus the remainder should equal the dividend. If the quotient of N divided by 5 is 13 and the remainder is 4(n/5 = 13 + 4/5) then,
N = (5 X 13) + 4 = 65 + 4 = 69
